DAY 1: SaiGon – ThacMai hotspring – Cycling to CatTien National Park: forest of Thac Mai, Cat Tien national park, DongNai river, TaLai buffer zone.
DAY 2: Cycling CatTien national park: Crocodile Swamp, Ficus Benjamina route, Deo Chuoi pass, Madagui reserve
DAY 3: Madagui – TanhLinh – MuiNe: K’ho and Muong hill tribe, KheGa beach
Itinerary of CYCLING NATIONAL PARK TO BEACH 3 DAYS
DAY 1: Saigon – Thac Mai Hot Spring –CatTien National Park.
Take early departure from hotel to avoid the traffic of the bustling city. After 2 hours of bus transfer, stop by a rubber plantation and prepare for the great cycling national park. Make a biking around 15 km at hill trails across forest to Thac Mai Spring. Enjoy a hot bath in the hotspring pool among the cool air of the forest. Biking to Dinh Quan for lunch afterward.
In the afternoon, take a bus transfer to Dong Nai river bank, get a short boat trip across the river and enter CatTien National Park. Check in and have a short refreshment.
This afternoon is of no biking, but we have a great 5 km hiking along the nature trail where we will have a great experience with the forest guru with lessons of trees and forest. Visit the tree of thousand year old and other treasures of the trails before arriving a waterfall. Walk back to the residential center for shower and dinner.
The program goes on after dinner with a lift by a jeep to the TaLai buffer zone for a night site spotting where we may see treeshrews, civets, mouse deer, wild boars, pygmy loris, and other surprises.
DAY 2: Crocodile Lake – Madagui
Take a cycling from residential center along forest trails to deep primitive area. After around 9 km of cycling national park, stop the bike and have a hiking around 5km across primitive ran forest to a lake named Crocodile Swam, as crocodile remains living there and you can see by bare eye.
After some resting and sightseeing, hike back by the same trails to the bikes and cycle more 7km to the Ficus tree area where we enjoy around 2km of hiking to the ecosystem of semi evergreen and wetland forest. Enjoy the picnic lunch on top of volcano rocks among the sound of primitive rain forest.
After lunch have a short national park cycling to Dong Nai river, follow hill trails to highway and challenge yourself with a cycling up the big hill before resting in the Madagui eco resort.
DAY 3: Madagui – TanhLinh – PhanThiet – MuiNe
The cool air at the forest edge makes great cycling along the hilly asphalt road, then turn to trails across farms of K’ho and Muong indigenous people. The beautiful view is not only at volcano valleys but also at plantation of coffee, fruits and forest. Bus pick up in Tanh Linh for a transfer to Ham Tan for lunch.
Make a cycling around 50km after lunch to Khe Ga then along the beach to Mui ne where we end the tour at a beautiful resort with cool swimming pool and direct access to the private beach.
